Sales Tax Holiday For Disaster Preparation This Week
PARKLAND, FL- The State of Florida is encouraging everyone to prepare for the upcoming hurricane season by offering a sales tax holiday this week.
There are two categories of sales tax holiday: consumer and business.
Consumer items that can be purchased sales tax-free include a range of areas, from flashlights, batteries, and bungee cords to water and portable generators.
Business items that can be purchased sales tax-free include a list similar to consumer items, but do not include rentals.
The sales tax holiday concludes on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
